Unpub Preview: Heist
As we move towards upcoming Unpub events we’re going to preview some of the games which will be exhibited.
Celebrating International Tabletop day with us at the Unpub Mini at Epic Loot Games and Comics on Saturday March 30, from11am to 5pm will be Matt Cocuzzi who is bringing along his game Heist. It's a game for 3-7 players aged 12 and up and should take about 15-30 minutes to play.
Matt describes the game as a "Screw your neighbor" game and his description bears that out. "Players have just scored a major heist, and sold their 'acquisition' to their employer. Now, it's time to divide the payment, making sure everyone gets their fair share, and that your share is a lot more fair than theirs!"
Let's hear what else Matt has to say about his game....
What was your inspiration for Heist? the Thomas Crowne Affair
What is your favorite part of Heist?stealing from my friends
To your knowledge, What do other people find most interesting about Heist? stealing from their friends
What has been the most challenging part of designing Heist? proper balance between screwing your neighbor and still feeling like you have good options
What advice would you give to players attempting Heist for the first time? it's light-hearted and purely for fun -- enjoy it
What has surprised you most in play-tests of Heist? that people liked it a lot more than i thought they would
What do you hope to accomplish at the Unpub Mini at Epic Loot on Saturday March 30th from 11am to 5pm? rules tweaks.
Thanks Matt! Have fun at Epic Loot...which just seems like a fitting place to play Heist! ...Which is something you should do on Saturday March 30th from 11am-5pm!
