Fall 2023 Unpub Event Updates

Hey All,

We wanted to update you on some of the upcoming events Unpub is involved in:

Storytelling/RPG Speed Pitch

We are running a Speed Pitch event targeted specifically towards Storytelling and RPG games with publishers like 9th Level Games, Magpie, Pelegrane Press, Snowbright Studios and Wet Ink Games.

The event is scheduled for Thursday October 12 at 2pm Eastern. Submissions are due by 10/1 at 11:59pm Eastern and can be done HERE

Save Against Fear

Unpub will be hosting the playtesting space again for the Bohdana Group’s Save Against Fear 11/10-12 in York, PA. Since 2010, The Bodhana Group has combined the love for tabletop with love for their community by showcasing the benefits gaming can accomplish. Celebrating the games, the people, and the opportunities to learn how to bring your own character to life, play with them  and game for good at Save Against Fear! More details can be found HERE

BGGCon

We will be back at BGGCon in Dallas November 15-19 with playtesting, Speed Pitch, our Unpub Game Jam and for the first time we’re also bringing Feedback Frenzy to BGGCon!

Submissions to be considered for Speed Pitch can be found HERE. Submissions end Friday 11/3 at 11:59PM EDT. Selected designers will be notified by Thursday 11/9.

PAX Unplugged

We look forward to sleeping in our own beds when PAX Unplugged welcomes you all back to Philadelphia December 1-3. We are excited to be adding both Feedback Frenzy and the newly envisioned Unpub Pro-Am Game Jam to our events at PAX Unplugged.

Due to space constraints, we will only have 25 tables this year. To allow more designers the opportunity to playtest, we will be shortening blocks to 3 hours each.

Sign-ups for these blocks will begin Monday 9/25 at 9am EDT HERE.

Information to be considered for Feedback Frenzy and the Pro-Am Game Jam will be out in early October.

Unpub 2024

We return to Suburban Baltimore for our flagship event March 14-17! Location and more details coming in October.

Nonepub 2024

Born out of a joke and goodhearted people ‘bullying’ us into it, Nonepub continues to let us present All of the Unpub with None of the Physical Contact. Nonepub 2024 will be no exception. Currently scheduled for January 26-28, 2024, more information will be coming later this fall.

We look forward to seeing each and every one of you this year as we build better board games together!
