Tabletop Mentorship Program now part of Unpub
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE : Tabletop Mentorship Program (TMP) is now part of The Unpublished Games Network (Unpub).
In November 2023, both groups agreed to bring the program under the Unpub umbrella of offerings to game designers. The Tabletop Mentorship Program name will remain and will be formally referred to as Tabletop Mentorship Program by Unpub.
“We are thrilled that the Tabletop Mentorship Program is joining Unpub! The program was growing at an incredible pace, and it became difficult for us to steward by ourselves. With Unpub's support and leadership, TMP can flourish to help more and more designers, publishers, artists, and anyone else working in tabletop games. Unpub was a huge part of both of our design journeys, and we couldn't be happier to be able to contribute to strengthening their already fantastic organization.” - Michael Belsole & Grace Kendall, Tabletop Mentorship Program creators
The amount of work that the team at Tabletop Mentorship Program (TMP) did was immense and it was unclear if the program would be sustainable long-term. Unpub reached out to see how they could assist. It turned out that adding TMP to the Unpub family was the best choice for both groups.
“We talked about their issues and how Unpub could help. We had been looking to add a mentorship component to Unpub so it made sense to partner up!” - Heather O’Neill, Managing Director, Unpub
Things you can expect to stay the same:

About Unpub
The Unpublished Games Network (Unpub) is a vibrant community of game designers, publishers, playtesters, retailers, and artists working towards the creation of new and unique tabletop games that will keep people entertained for generations to come! Started in 2010 by John Moller, the original nucleus of this community was the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States, but our reach and membership is steadily growing across the globe. Our hope is to create a stronger community of colleagues and friends in game design while promoting the creative projects of our members and encouraging the improvement of their games through playtesting. www.unpub.net
