It’s time to announce our Special Guests and other reminders for Unpub ‘24!
SPECIAL GUESTS
Erica Bouyouris
Erica is the Design Lead for Spin Master Games. Titles designed by Erica that came out in 2023 included Harry Potter Magical Mayhem, I Need a New Butt: The Game, The Groot Escape, and a Disney Robin Hood re-theme of the popular Sheriff of Nottingham bluffing game. 2023 also saw Erica bring Dumb Ways to Die to the tabletop; a licensed design that saw her nominated for Game Designer of the Year at the Play Creators Awards and the game as a Finalist for Adult Toy of the Year at the Toy of The Year Awards 2023. Erica was also the designer of games like Scott Pilgrim Miniatures the World and Little Mermaid Charming Sea Adventure, as well as a co-designer on games like Bosk, Steven Universe: Beach-a-palooza, Rat Queens: To the Slaughter and the Mensa Select award winning game, Kodama 3D. Erica is the co-host of the long running podcast Ludology, a podcast all about game design and the gaming industry.
Sen-Foong Lim
Sen is constantly dreaming, even when he’s awake. He is passionate about helping people lose track of time in meaningful ways. An award-winning game designer, Sen helped bring titles like Belfort, Akrotiri, Junk Art, The Legend of Korra: Pro Bending Arena, Kingdom Rush: Rift in Time, Scooby-Doo: Escape from the Haunted Manor, MIND MGMT: The Psychic Espionage “Game”, and Rat Queens: To the Slaughter to tabletops around the world. Sen is the co-author of the RPGs Jiangshi: Blood in the Banquet Hall, An Exquisite Crime, and The Revenant Society. He also contributed to The North Sea Epilogues, Gears of Defiance, Never Going Home, The Curse of the House of Rookwood, Tiny Supers, Mecha & Monsters: Evolved, Heckin’ Good Doggos, Queerz, Kids on Bikes, and Avatar: Legends. When he’s not developing games or providing cultural consultation, you can find Sen practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, working on graphic novels, or co-hosting the Ludology Podcast and the Meeple Syrup Show. As a reminder, all attendees at Unpub 2024 must wear face coverings at all times in all Unpub areas (which will be marked). We will have a supply of replacement masks in the event that anyone forgets or due to breakage.
Proof of vaccination is not required.
