Building A Better Convention Together

Unpub is, and always will be a community driven effort. Just like everyone’s prototype, Unpub is done out of sheer love of games, and our all-volunteer staff are dedicated to the iterative process - even in putting on a convention for everyone.

We talked with Ruth after Unpub 8, and will continue to do so. This is a new issue to us, and we regret it happened, but we want to work together with playtesters and designers to come up with solutions to ensure the playtesting experience is the best it can possibly be.

We are thankful this issue was brought to light so we can properly address it together. We encourage all playtesters to be as honest and forthright as Ruth when submitting their feedback via the Playtester Surveys. Feedback that is direct and honest is appreciated and helps Unpub staff to build a better convention.

While we value our sponsors and the opportunity for publishers to find the next greatest game, playtesters and designers always are and always will be our number one priority.
