Unpub is back for its fourth year for Origins! Join us as we show the attendees of Origins what the future of gaming holds!
With Origins we also have a change in our convention tabled events.
NOTE: Unpub has grown a lot over the last decade. We've been able to bring you the biggest and best convention dedicated completely to unpublished board games. We've been able to bring you hundreds of small events in local libraries, colleges, churches and game stores... all run by you! And we've brought you our ProtoAlley events, where a larger convention shares space with Unpub to bring you playtesting events all over the country.
Our ProtoAlley events, specifically, require not only an investment of our members' and volunteers' time, but often an investment of their own money to cover travel and lodging. While this comes from a desire to help the community, it is not sustainable for Unpub as an organization. This is why we are introducing ticketed registration at our ProtoAlley events, starting with PAX Unplugged.
Each BLOCK will require sign-ups through a separate registration portal (Eventbrite.com). Table BLOCKS will be $10 each. You can register for as many BLOCKS as you like, but only one table per BLOCK.
Table blocks/schedule:
- BLOCK 1: Thursday 10:00 - 1:30
- BLOCK 2: Thursday 2:30 - 6:00
- BLOCK 3: Friday 10:00 - 1:30
- BLOCK 4: Friday 2:30 - 6:00
- BLOCK 5: Saturday 10:00 - 1:30
- BLOCK 6: Saturday 2:30 - 6:00
Registering at eventbrite is how you are securing your spot at the event. This is a similar process to how we handle registration for our main Unpub event, just using a different platform.
