The Unpublished Games Network, also known as Unpub, is an organization that helps aspiring game designers establish contacts in the industry, have their games play-tested, and hone their craft to reach the dream of having their game published. Unpub does all this through an annual Unpublished Games Festival, presence at major conventions (PAX East, Origins, GenCon, and BGG.Con), and with the Unpub Mini Program’s partnerships with friendly local game stores. The Unpub.net website contains hundreds of designer-posted games and houses even more electronic feedback forms for all listed designs.
In the past 5 years, Unpub has achieved great growth, and 2015 plans to be no exception. On February 7, 2015, we will host our fifth annual Unpublished Games Festival (Unpub 5) at the biggest venue to date: The Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, Maryland. With 75 game designer tables already sold out, and in less than 30 minutes at that, we are estimating play tester and gamer attendance of over 1,000 people! This is an exciting time of growth for the Unpub Network.
With this new venue, Unpub is also proud to announce our very first special guest, Mr. Richard Launius. Mr. Launius is no stranger to game design with such published titles as Arkham Horror, Defenders of the Realm, Elder Sign, and Run, Fight, or Die! He understands the rigors a designer must go through from publication to distribution onto store shelves. Mr. Launius will be speaking to attendees, as well as actively play-testing designs, in order to help designers along their path to publication.

I will be there with some games to play test and look forward to helping designers get closer to that first published game!!!

What time exactly does the event start in the AM and end in the PM? I'm coming from DC and I'm busy during the middle of the day both Saturday and Sunday so I'd like to know if it's feasible to get up to Baltimore, see some games and get back before my other responsibilities. Thanks!
