ALAPlay is an annual evening of open gaming and exploration that takes place at the American Library Association's annual conference. This year, we will be running an Unpub event at ALAPlay were we are inviting in local San Francisco Designers as well as designers within the library field to share their games. The goal of the Unpub event is to allow librarians from across the country to come see and experience what an Unpub event looks and feels like so they can go back and start up their own Unpubs back in their communities.

We will have 10 longer convention tables for local San Francisco designers to come in, set up and get their games played at the event. We should be able to fit 2 designers per long table, giving ROOM FOR ABOUT TWENTY LOCAL DESIGNERS to come in and participate. We will also have space set up for librarians as well to show off their games. In addition to the Unpub space, their will be a large area of open gaming as well as guest publishers running demos including: Fantasy Flight Games, Academy Games and Paizo Publishing.

Local designers do not need to be librarians or to register for the library conference.
