The Science and Seance SocietyDesigned by: Daniel Newman and Tania Walker
You are members of The Science and Séance Society, a Victorian-era secret organization devoted to exploring the mysteries of reality. Two of you from opposing factions have entered into a friendly wager to see who can communicate with the dead first; one by conducting a séance and the other by constructing a scientific machine. Both techniques require 5 steps to be completed in a specific order, represented by a shared double-sided tableau (Science on one end, Séance on the other). Each card has a step in the process for each side, as well as an ability which affects each player’s options on their turn. Whichever ability is facing the player will stay in effect for that player as long as it is in play, and if an ability appears more than once it can be utilized that many times.
