Back for more, 7th Dimension Games will be hosting an Unpub Mini event on February 15 from Noon to 6pm! The event will be managed by Unpub Alums Nathaniel Levan and Anna Rutledge.
7th Dimension Games carries boardgames, RPGs, CCGs, miniatures, dice, painting supplies and related odds and ends. Stop by to play or buy eurogames (like Settlers of Catan or Puerto Rico), Trading card games (like Legend of the 5 Rings or Magic The Gathering) Role Playing Games (like Pathfinder, Dungeons & Dragons, or Fiasco), Warmachine, Malifaux, Flames of War (WWII miniature battles), and much more.

I would like to bring a game for the group to look at. How do I do that?
Pete, we will be launching the registration for this event Friday (31st). You'll want to be sure you are registered as a designer first, which you can do by clicking 'LOG IN' above.
OK...I am a registered designer. Now I want to register for the 7th Dimension event on the 15th. How do I do that?
Log into your Unpub account, and click on Event Management.
Alright Darrell, you were an excellent help last time. I've got another one for you. This one will probably require a much broader answer, but what can I expect for this event? I've never been to any unpub minis. What will I need for preparation? Will I be in charge of my game and teaching people how to play it etc. etc.?
A smaller, more concentrated playtesting experience. There will only be a total of 8 designers present playtesting and gaining feedback. Being in a game store gives you your target audience. So you'll, yes, play/tech your game throughout the day to players and designers a like. You can opt to go the 'blind test' route and leave your game and rules out- but be aware that this sometimes yields lower feedback as people seem to rather a play a game they can be taught.
This will be my first Unpub event as well. The event is advertised as noon to 6 - but are designers allowed to arrive early to set up their games?
Arrival time would depend upon the store opening times. I would recommend calling 7th Dimension and asking Glen his preferred arrival time.
